In the spring of 2016, the majority of Hieronymus Bosch’s work returned to the city of his birth, ’s-Hertogenbosch [Den Bosch]. The influence of Bosch’s work on painting and printing has been immense.

Vincent van Gogh (1853-1890) grew up in Noord-Brabant and he became an artist there. Many of the themes with which he would become famous had their genesis here.
